In a world of superficial influences, "words of wisdom are more precious than gold"; that is part of the message in this meaningful song, as the listener is asked to slow down from the bustle of modern life and grab hold of those valuable things in our lives we may be taking for granted. Maxie wrote this song in the early 90s while going through the nice one-horse town of Shaniko, Oregon. The talented Jimmy Crokett sang and produced the song in the 90s, giving life to the busy man whose life changed that fateful day in ole Shaniko. The cover artwork was created by Maxie.
